TH.O.I and A.P.O. of Deneia
The Orthodox Religious Foundation (TH.O.I) of Deneia was established in 1958, during the British occupation, at a time when only sports and religious associations could be established. Later on, in 1971, the people of Deneia established the Athletic Football Club of Deneia (A.P.O. of Deneia).
The primary goal of the Associations is to promote sports in the community. In fact, there is a community football pitch where the football team trains and plays its home matches.
